Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial electrical projects. You will supervise Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, install and terminate devices, and ensure all work meets high quality and safety standards.

You will develop manpower schedules, read layouts, and communicate material needs to supervision while maintaining adherence to project timelines and NEC guidelines. Strong leadership and blueprint reading skills required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates leadership abilities with capability and desire to grow in this area.
• Able to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Understanding of a small, assigned scope of work and communication with other trades.
• Able to read and understand project blueprints, specifications, and schematics.
• Willingness to learn BlueBeam, Navisworks and related programs for project plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside the crew to ensure high quality work.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands and relay to supervision.
• Support production and budget goals through delegation and planning.
• Ensure crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, conduits, panels, and feeders.
• Read project specifications, blueprints, and schematics; lay out work from drawings.
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing; perform basic troubleshooting.
