Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial and industrial projects. You will lead on-site installation, alteration and repair of electrical systems, read blueprints, and ensure work complies with NEC and local codes.

You will develop manpower schedules, prepare material lists, mentor your team, and coordinate with supervision to meet production and budget goals, while maintaining safety, quality

Qualifications

• Demonstrates leadership abilities and ability to grow as a leader.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Basic reading of blueprints and available contract-related documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Support production and budget goals by clear communication with the team.
• Ensure crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit and electrical components.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and panels.
• Read project specifications, blueprints and schematics.
