Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will lead, mentor, and train the team while ensuring work meets NEC guidelines and project specifications.

The role requires 7–10 years of electrical construction experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read blueprints and coordinate with supervision. On-site work with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coach a small crew (Helpers, Apprentices, Journeyman).
• Strong reading of blueprints, specifications, and project documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work with the crew to ensure the highest quality of work.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by planning tasks.
• Ensure all crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels, and feeders.
• Read project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Layout work areas from drawings and documents, including underground.
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and general power circuits.
