Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead and mentor a crew of five. You will oversee installation, alterations and repairs of electrical systems, read blueprints and project documents, and ensure work adheres to NEC guidelines.

Field layout, material planning, and coordination with supervision are essential parts of the role. You will train apprentices, coordinate schedules, manage budgets, and drive on-site safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years electrical construction in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead a five-person crew and coach team members.
• Strong understanding of blueprints, specs, and project docs.
• Effective communication with trades and supervision.
• Familiarity with BlueBeam and Navisworks when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site
• Work alongside their crew and ensure quality of work to the highest standards
• Assist in developing manpower schedules for their team
• Develop material lists from layouts and communicate with supervision
• Help achieve production and budget goals and communicate needs to team
• Ensure crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures and panel boards
• Demonstrate knowledge of circuitry and project specs
• Read blueprints and schematics; layout from drawings including underground
• Perform field layout using Trimble equipment/software
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits
