Job summary

Comfort Systems USA in Houston is seeking a Foreman Electrician to supervise a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeymen on commercial and industrial projects. You will install, alter and repair electrical systems, train your team, and ensure work meets NEC guidelines and project specs.

Lead, schedule crews, read blueprints, perform Trimble layouts, and coordinate with other trades to keep projects on track. Requires 7–10 years of field experience and proven leadership.

Qualifications

7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
Proven leadership abilities to mentor and coach a team of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeymen.
Solid understanding of blueprints, specs and project documentation.
Ability to read and follow construction schedules and coordinate with other trades.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor Journeymen, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
Ensure quality of work meets high standards and project specs.
Develop manpower schedules for the team.
Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
Perform field layouts and basic troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Read project specifications, blueprints, and schematics; ensure NEC compliance.
