Job summary

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a team of five helpers, apprentices and journeymen.
• Strong understanding of project scopes and blueprints.
• Effective communication with trades and supervision.
• Willingness to learn BlueBeam, Navisworks and related programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on site.
• Ensure quality of work meets high standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the crew.
• Create material lists from layouts and job needs.
• Communicate production and budget goals to the team.
• Ensure work complies with local codes and NEC.
• Install and terminate conduits, devices, panels.
• Read project specs, blueprints, schematics.
• Lay out work from electrical drawings and site docs.
• Determine wire, conduit, and box sizing.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
