Job summary

Amteck seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects in the Anderson, SC area. You will oversee installation, alteration and repair work while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include mentoring the team, coordinating manpower, reviewing blueprints, and ensuring schedule adherence and budget goals. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead and coach a crew of ~5 workers.
• Strong reading of blueprints, specs, and project docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Journeymen, Helpers and Apprentices on site.
• Ensure work quality to highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands.
• Communicate needs to supervision to meet production/budget goals.
• Ensure work complies with NEC/local guidelines.
• Read project drawings and lay out work from docs.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits.
