Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to supervise a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will lead installation, alterations and repairs while mentoring the team and ensuring high-quality results.

Responsibilities include preparing material lists from layouts, coordinating with supervision, interpreting blueprints and project specs, and ensuring compliance with NEC guidelines.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities and can coach a team of five
• Ability to read blueprints and project specifications
• Ability to develop and follow construction schedules
• Strong communication with other trades and supervision

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands
• Help achieve production and budget goals by communicating tasks to the team
• Ensure all work complies with local and NEC guidelines
• Install and terminate electrical devices and conductors
• Read and understand project specs and blueprints
• Lay out small areas from drawings and documents
• Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and power circuits
