Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician in Florida to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial and industrial projects. The role involves installing, altering, and repairing electrical systems while mentoring junior staff and ensuring quality workmanship.

The candidate should have 7–10+ years of electrical construction experience, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to read blueprints, specs, and site plans.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead and coach a team of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Strong reading of project specifications, blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and site demands for supervision.
• Help meet production and budget goals by relaying tasks to the crew.
• Ensure work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit and electrical devices.
• Read project drawings and lay out work including underground layouts.
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing and perform basic lighting/power troubleshooting.
