Job summary

The Foreman Electrician at Comfort Systems USA will lead a crew on commercial and industrial sites, overseeing installation, alteration and repair of electrical systems while ensuring safety and quality.

You will read blueprints, develop material lists, coordinate with supervision, and perform field layouts using Trimble equipment to support project plans.

This role requires 7–10 years of experience, strong leadership and communication, and flexibility to work weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of electrical construction experience
  • Demonstrates leadership with ability to grow in this area
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
  • Communicate effectively with trades and supervision
  • Willingness to work weekends and overtime
  • Aptitude for learning Trimble software and field layout techniques

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are met on site
  • Develop manpower schedules and coordinate material lists
  • Read and interpret project drawings, blueprints and specs
  • Perform field layouts using Trimble equipment and software
  • Ensure work complies with NEC and other codes
  • Communicate progress and issues to supervision
