Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial and industrial electrical installations, alterations, and repairs. You will oversee journeymen, apprentices, and helpers while ensuring safety and quality.

You will read blueprints and project specs, develop material lists, coordinate schedules, and mentor your team to meet production and budget goals. The role requires strong leadership and communication in the field.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five workers.
• Strong understanding of project scope and customer satisfaction.
• Reads and understands blueprints, specs and schematics.
• Coordinates material lists and work schedules with supervision.
• Demonstrates safety, teamwork, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site
• Work alongside crew ensuring high quality of work
• Assist in developing manpower schedules for the team
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands
• Help achieve production and budget goals by communicating needs to team
• Ensure all crew work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install conduit
• Install and terminate electrical devices, panels, and feeders
• Demonstrate working knowledge of circuitry
• Read project specifications and blueprints
• Layout work from electrical drawings including underground
• Determine wire, conduit, and box sizing
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits
