Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead and mentor a crew on commercial/industrial projects. You will oversee installation, alterations, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring work meets NEC and project specs.

The role requires 7–10 years of field experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read blueprints and coordinate across trades. Expect to work weekends/overtime as needed and bring your tools for on-site duties.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities with capability to grow in this area and coach teams.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and project-related documents.
• Good communication with other trades and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Maintain quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop effective manpower schedules for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job-site demands and communicate them to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by understanding what needs to be done and communicating it to the team.
• Ensure all work meets local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit using tools.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels and feeders.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of circuitry.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out work from drawings, including underground layouts.
• Determine wire, conduit, and box sizing.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
