Job summary

Comfort Systems USA in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman Electricians on commercial and industrial projects. Under a senior Foreman or Superintendent, you will install, modify and repair electrical systems while mentoring the team and ensuring safety and quality.

You will develop schedules, read blueprints, manage materials, perform field layout with Trimble tools, and troubleshoot lighting and power circuits.

Qualifications

• Lead, mentor and coach a team of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts and project documents.
• Plan field layout, material lists and scheduling for assigned scope.
• Proficient with Trimble equipment/software for field layout.
• Coordinate with other trades and supervision to meet schedules.
• Demonstrate safety, quality workmanship and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands.
• Help achieve production and budget goals with clear direction.
• Ensure work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Perform field layout using Trimble equipment and software.
• Read project specifications, blueprints and schematics.
• Layout areas from electrical drawings, including underground.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
