Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial and industrial electrical installations, alterations, and repairs. You will supervise Journeyman electricians, Apprentices, and Helpers, ensuring work meets high standards and safety guidelines on site.

You will read blueprints, develop manpower schedules, estimate material needs, and coordinate with supervision to hit production and budget goals while mentoring your team and maintaining customer satisfaction on every project.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach small crews on site.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and safety on site.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and communicate with supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating tasks.
• Ensure all work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduits.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and panels.
• Read project specs, blueprints and schematics.
• Lay out work from drawings and project documents.
