Job summary

Comfort Systems USA in Michigan is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects.

You will read blueprints, coordinate material layouts, ensure code compliance, and mentor team members while managing schedules and job site safety. This role requires 7–10 years of field experience and strong leadership, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a small crew on site.
• Strong reading of blueprints, schematics, and project specs.
• Good communication with trades and supervision.
• Willingness to work weekends/overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Apprentices and Helpers on job sites.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards and codes.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate them to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals through effective leadership.
• Verify work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Perform field layout and conduit installation using appropriate tools.
• Read project documents and interpret blueprints for layout.
• Troubleshoot basic lighting and power circuits on site.
