Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to guide a crew on large commercial/industrial projects. You will supervise Journeymen, Apprentices, and Helpers, manage schedules, and ensure quality and safety on site.

Responsibilities include mentoring the team, developing material lists, and ensuring all work aligns with NEC and local codes while interpreting drawings and project specs for accurate installations.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial or industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Strong understanding of project drawings, blueprints and related documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure high quality of work and adherence to standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands.
• Meet production and budget goals by coordinating with the team.
• Ensure all crew work complies with local codes and NEC.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduits.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and panels.
• Read project specifications and schematics; lay out work from drawings.
