Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will supervise installation, alteration, and repair work, mentor your team, and coordinate material needs and schedules.

You will read blueprints and project specs, ensure quality, safety, and adherence to NEC guidelines, and drive productivity on site.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a small crew.
• Strong reading of project specs, blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site
• Work alongside their crew and ensure quality of work to high standards
• Develop manpower schedule for their team
• Prepare material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision
• Contribute to production and budget goals by planning tasks for the crew
• Ensure work complies with local and NEC guidelines
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install conduit and devices
• Lay out work from drawings and project documents
• Read project documents and calculate wire/conduit sizing
• Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and power circuits
