Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Technician to support start-up commissioning, integration and emergency service of 480VAC bus duct systems. The role emphasizes customer rapport, safety compliance and timely communication with CRC, supervisors and management.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, an ASMET or equivalent, and 1+ year of hands-on electrical experience. Valid driver's license and basic electrical testing skills are required. Outdoor work and physical demands apply.

Qualifications

Basic training in electrical theory and technologies.
Basic knowledge with electrical/electronic test equipment and fundamentals.
Mechanical aptitude.
MS Outlook, Word, and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

Assist in start-up commissioning, integration, emergency service and troubleshooting of Vertiv 480VAC systems.
Establish and maintain rapport with customers and colleagues.
Evaluate operating conditions of equipment.
Interact with customers at all levels.
Manage own schedule and respond to emergency calls.
Provide timely reporting of timecards and expenses.
Drive continuous improvement.
