Job summary

JDC Power Systems, LLC is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and service electrical systems, industrial controls, and related equipment at client sites nationwide. You will diagnose issues, perform startup and commissioning, and ensure systems meet customer specifications.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of hands-on experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with customers and other technicians.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on field service experience in power systems, electrical equipment or industrial controls.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred; NFPA 70E/OSHA 30 certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• On-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment including transformers and switchgear.
• Document service activities and provide test reports; support system startups and commissioning.
• Act as primary customer contact during visits; deliver basic training on system operation and maintenance.
