Job summary

JDC Power Systems, LLC is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and service electrical systems and industrial controls at client sites across the country. You will support startups, diagnostics, and commissioning, ensuring uptime and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication with customers, and willingness to travel frequently with overtime and on-call requirements. Safety training and PPE are mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of hands-on field service experience focused on power systems or electrical equipment.
• Experience with transformers, circuit breakers, LV/MV switchgear, PLC controls.

Responsibilities

• On-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Support system startups and commissioning to meet customer specifications.
• Act as primary customer contact during service visits and provide basic training.
