Job summary

JDC Power Systems, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers' field operations. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and service electrical systems, industrial controls, and related equipment at client sites to ensure smooth operation of power systems.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on field service experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel regionally or nationally to multiple JDC locations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on field service experience in power systems or industrial controls.
• Experience with electrical system maintenance, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with field service management software, ERP, and MS Excel.
• Excellent communication abilities to explain technical issues to customers.
• Able to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to travel frequently with overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Familiarity with test equipment (multimeters, breaker test sets).

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Contribute to system startups and commissioning to meet specs.
• Serve as primary customer contact during service visits and ensure satisfaction.
• Document service activities and provide test reports.
• Maintain time, service work, and inventory records on-site.
• Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
