Job summary

JDC Power Systems, LLC is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to support customer field operations and ensure reliable power systems. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and service electrical systems at client sites, with a focus on minimizing downtime and delivering high-quality service.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on experience with power systems, transformers, switchgear, and PLC controls, plus strong troubleshooting and customer communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a field service technician focused on power systems and electrical equipment.
• Experience with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• Proficiency with field service management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, LV/MV switchgear, and PLC controls.
• Conduct system diagnostics and address technical issues to ensure minimal downtime and efficient system operation.
• Support system startups and commissioning, ensuring systems are operational and meet customer specifications.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers during service visits, resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction.
• Provide basic training to customers on system operation and maintenance.
• Document service activities, including test reports and feedback on system performance.
