Job summary

JDC Power Systems, LLC is seeking a Power Systems Field Service Technologist to diagnose issues, restore uptime, and commission equipment at customer sites across the country. The role requires on-site presence, safe work practices, and effective communication with clients.

You will travel regionally to customer sites, perform diagnostics on transformers, switchgear, PLCs, and related equipment, and ensure installations meet specifications. A strong focus on safety and documentation is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
• NFPA 70E and OSHA 30 certifications are a plus.
• 3–5 years of field service experience in power systems, electrical equipment, or industrial controls.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues on-site, restore uptime, and commission equipment across customer sites.
• Review safety protocols, site documentation, and work orders on arrival.
• Perform on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of LV/MV equipment and PLCs.
• Provide customer training and document service notes, test reports, and performance feedback.
