Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) in San Francisco to perform basic electrical inspections, tests, and data collection with limited supervision. You will set up and remove test equipment, conduct acceptance and maintenance testing, and help maintain a clean work environment.

You will co-lead projects, write detailed reports, and travel up to 50% with strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in field service or electrical testing.
• Certifications such as OSHA 30, NFPA 70E or CPR/First Aid are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Set up and remove test equipment; collect and record data accurately.
• Write detailed test reports and ensure timely submission.
• Perform basic electrical measurements and de-energized testing.
