The School District of Philadelphia seeks a Maintenance Resource Scheduler (Electrical Services) to coordinate the ongoing assessment, maintenance, alteration and improvement of district facilities. This role oversees a large facilities database and ensures timely updates and reporting to support capital projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or have substantial construction management experience; strong knowledge of MRMS-like systems and cost controls is

Formación

• Bachelor's degree program from an accredited college or university in mechanical, electrical or structural engineering, construction management, architecture or a related field.
• Two years of full-time, paid, professional experience in building project assessments with knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Six years of full-time, paid experience in construction management or a related field, two of which have involved the use of a computerized maintenance system.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises employees engaged in performing facilities assessments and cost estimates for proposed repairs; reviews estimates or required labor and quantity of materials to be utilized in the accomplishment of objectives; reviews factual reports detailing survey findings submitted by subordinates; verifies validity of work performed.
• Reviews plans and specifications for projects; interprets drawings and specifications of proposed renovation activities; ensures that modifications are performed and recorded in a timely manner; evaluates and makes ongoing assessments of projects in progress, including additional cost projections.
• Coordinates and oversees a large facilities related database with ongoing report development and file maintenance responsibilities; develops, manipulates, monitors and maintains test and production automated databases; maintains data collection vehicles and program report requests; assists in integrating data with other internal data systems.
