Structure Tone Southwest is seeking an Electrical Estimator to perform MEP estimating, budgeting, and bidding for assigned projects in a Texas-based office. The role requires reviewing plans, obtaining bids from subcontractors, and maintaining a centralized cost database to support accurate, timely proposals.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with experience in take-offs, Bluebeam, Destiny, and Building Connected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• MEP estimating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and drawings; prepare quantity take-offs for projects.
• Solicit subcontractor bids; review bids for conformance to specs and costs.
• Compute cost factors and prepare estimates for bids and planning.
• Interface with clients, vendors, and staff to resolve estimate issues.
• Organize cost data and maintain a centralized estimating database.
• Analyze completed projects to identify cost variances and improvements.
