Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking an Estimator I in Sterling, VA to assist with bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. This entry-level role supports senior estimators, learns to takeoffs, and uses our estimating system under supervision.

You will review specs and drawings, solicit quotes, and help prepare complete bid packages, with up to 10% travel. A related bachelor's degree and 0–2 years' experience are preferred, plus Accubid exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM, Engineering, or related field.
• 0–2 years of estimating commercial construction projects.
• Basic experience with Accubid estimating.
• Combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications and drawings to determine scope.
• Prepare estimates using established procedures.
• Solicit quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Provide detailed review to Lead Estimator/Chief Estimator.
• Maintain bid package backups.
• Follow templates for scope letters.
