Job summary

Blattner is seeking a Senior Manager - Electrical Engineering to lead the electrical engineering program for its gas generation segment, including reciprocating engines and aeroderivative turbines. You will coordinate with suppliers, define design criteria, and ensure adherence to safety and engineering standards across the project lifecycle.

The role requires travel up to 25%, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of gas power generation electrical design.

Qualifications

• Four-year Engineering degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited college.
• 5+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience in gas power generation with leadership.
• PE license strongly preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable MVR.
• Up to 25% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Company program engineering representative from proposal through execution.
• Coordinate with utility, engine/turbine suppliers and balance of plant vendors.
• Ensure designs meet NEC, NESC, NFPA safety standards.
• Own electrical design basis for power block: transformers, switchgear, protection, grounding.
• Lead engineering staff and drive program management.
