Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of protection & control systems, medium voltage switchgear protection, and power systems analysis.
• Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, NEC, and other industry standards and codes.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-term engineering strategies aligned with company goals and standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and test technicians.
• Oversee design, development, testing, and validation of electrical systems for substations, switchgear, transformers, and relays.
• Collaborate with mechanical, project management, and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance on complex engineering challenges.
