Job summary

Electric Power Engineers, LLC in Texas invites an Engineering Manager to lead a team of power system engineers, performing transmission studies and projects for clients. You will handle client account management, business development support, project management, resource forecasting, and mentoring direct reports.

The role demands hands-on experience with PSS/E, PSLF, PowerWorld, and related tools, plus knowledge of regional ISOs including ERCOT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• 5+ years in electric energy industry with power systems experience.
• Experience leading 2–10 engineers.
• Proficient with PSS/E, PSLF, PowerWorld, TARA, CAPE, and PSCAD.
• Knowledge of ISOs such as PJM, MISO, CAISO, ERCOT, WECC, SERC, NYISO.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of power system engineers on transmission studies.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, plus client communications.
• Develop and grow engineering staff and capabilities.
• Perform high-level bulk power studies using industry software.
• Support business development and RFP responses.
