Advantage Technical is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager in Dallas, TX to lead a talented engineering team, shape long-term strategy, and drive reliability of advanced electrical systems. This direct-hire role reports to the Director of Engineering and blends hands-on guidance with strategic decision-making.

You will mentor engineers, manage complex projects and budgets, and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards while supporting recruitment and team development.

Qualifications

• Eight years of progressive electrical engineering experience.
• Two or more years of engineering leadership experience.
• Knowledge of protection and control systems, medium-voltage switchgear protection, substation AC/DC systems, and power systems analysis.
• Working knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NEC, and related standards.
• Experience managing engineering teams, complex projects, and budgets.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide the design, testing, and validation of substations, switchgear, transformers, protective relays, and power distribution systems.
