Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• At least 5 years of related work experience in electrical power systems.
• Excellent budgeting and cost containment skills.
• Excellent organizational and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications to create drawings and bill of materials for assigned projects.
• Design single line diagrams, schematics and wiring diagrams for power distribution.
• Generate detailed wiring drawings for substation control houses.
• Design and perform load calculations for power distribution systems.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Vendors for quotes and lead times.
• Work with mechanical engineering for integrated product design.
• Provide engineering support to production during manufacturing.
• Coordinate with customers on specification and design questions.
