Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the design, operation, and continuous improvement of medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems. You will oversee safety, regulatory compliance, and capital projects, driving reliability, energy efficiency, and cost-effective services for world-class semiconductor production.

You will guide SCADA/FMCS alarm response, coordinate maintenance, and develop annual electrical budgets while mentoring a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial electrical engineering with at least 5 years in leadership/management.
• Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, operation and continuous improvement of medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E, and local regulations; lead safety initiatives.
• Manage capital and capacity projects; participate in equipment selection and vendor negotiations.
• Develop annual electrical expense budgets and monitor cost controls.
• Lead reliability and safety improvement projects to increase uptime and energy efficiency.
