Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the design, operation, and continuous improvement of medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution across the site. You will guide safety programs, manage capital projects, oversee vendor negotiations, and align with EHS standards to ensure reliable, cost-efficient power for semiconductor production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• 10+ years in industrial electrical engineering with leadership experience.
• PE license preferred; strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical distribution.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, operation and continuous improvement of electrical distribution systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E and local regulations.
• Oversee capital projects, vendor negotiations and budgeting.
• Drive safety, reliability and energy efficiency through Lean/Six Sigma.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing electrical engineering team.
