Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Advanced Facilities - Data Centers Team. The position supports power distribution, system planning and lighting design across multiple U.S. locations with a hybrid work model. You’ll work under senior staff to develop designs and coordinate with other trades.

You will gain mentorship and hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, preparing for a career in engineering and design projects worldwide.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a degree seeking program for Electrical Engineering or closely related degree.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
• Basic knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, basic rendering and publishing programs.
• Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist in projects focusing on power distribution, system planning and lighting design.
• Under supervision, progress from basic design work to more complex projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and other trades to ensure complete, accurate work.
