Job summary

Jacobs is hiring an Electrical Engineer in the Advanced Manufacturing group. You will contribute to design and engineering for data center facilities, handling power distribution, UPS, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage communications within a collaborative multi-disciplinary team.

The role offers flexible location within the U.S. and opportunities to interact with clients and on-site construction teams to deliver high-quality engineering packages.

Qualifications

• 6 year experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems
• Extensive knowledge of industrial facility design
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
• Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems
• Design may include retrofit of existing building systems to meet evolving client requirements
• Interact with client, owner, and contractors to support on-site construction and with multi-disciplinary teams for design requirements
