Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group to design data center power distribution, UPS systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications within complex facilities.

The role offers location-flexible US employment with a hybrid work policy, collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams, and opportunities to mentor others while delivering design packages and construction documents.

Qualifications

• 6 years in engineering design of medium/low voltage distribution and campus power systems
• Extensive knowledge of industrial facility design
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
• Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design data center electrical distribution systems, UPS, grounding, and lighting
• Produce construction documents and perform design reviews
• Coordinate with client, owner, and contractors
• Manage quality, scope, budget, and schedule
• Mentor and collaborate with multi-discipline teams
