Job summary
Hargrove & Associates Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking an Electrical Engineer to perform complete electrical and instrumentation designs under general supervision.
Responsibilities include applying NEC standards, producing design calculations and sketches, and delivering construction documents for projects of various sizes. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Electrical Engineering, PE registration preferred, 3+ years of industrial experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer registration preferred.
- 3+ years of industrial electrical/instrumentation experience.
- Strong knowledge of NEC and applicable codes.
Responsibilities
- Perform complete electrical and instrumentation designs under supervision.
- Produce design calculations and sketches for materials of construction.
- Create electrical installation documents from vendor drawings.
- Assist with field data collection, startup support, and vendor reviews.
- Coordinate with design leaders to ensure timely delivery of drawings.
