Lake Superior Consulting, LLC seeks an Electrical Engineer II/III to join our growing team in a role that spans concept through commissioning on diverse industrial projects. You’ll design, review and implement electrical and control systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

You will work with a flexible approach including remote opportunities and travel up to 10%. The team focuses on power, oil & gas, renewables, and manufacturing with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar field.
• Engineer II: 1–3+ years of related engineering experience.
• Engineer III: 3+ years of related engineering experience.
• EIT license preferred; PE license a plus for Engineer III.
• Practical experience in power, control and communications systems.
• Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD design and drafting to assist engineers in electrical/control systems.
• Lead moderate to large projects and make technical decisions as assigned.
• Develop specifications for procurement, installation and testing of electrical equipment.
• Provide design review support to lower-level engineers and designers.
• Apply software for ground grid design, relay coordination and studies.
• Participate in field wiring and testing with design and commissioning teams.
• Coordinate project activities with stakeholders and customers.
• Manage changes in scope and identify potential risks.
