Lake Superior Consulting is seeking an Electrical Engineer II/III to join our growing team in Duluth, MN, with flexibility for remote work. The role covers electrical and control system design for energy and industrial projects across multiple sites and possibly field support.

Engineers will progress from concept to commissioning, with opportunities for leadership and cross-disciplinary collaboration. The position requires CAD/drafting skills, a strong grounding in electrical design, and the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a similar discipline.
• Engineer II: typically 1–3+ years of related engineering experience.
• Engineer III: typically 3+ years of related engineering experience.
• EIT license is preferred; PE license a plus for Engineer III.
• Travel up to 10% and field support possible.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD design and drafting to assist electrical and control systems engineers.
• Lead moderate to large-sized projects and provide direction on technical issues.
• Develop design documents, diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and clients to manage scope and risks.
• Apply engineering software to complete electrical studies and sizing.
• Support field wiring and commissioning activities and project reporting.
