Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking an Electrical Engineer at mid-level to join our team in a diverse range of energy and industrial projects. You’ll work from concept through commissioning, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex designs.

The role offers opportunities across oil and gas, power generation, utilities, renewables, and more. Relocation or remote options are possible, with travel up to 10% to support field activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Engineer II typically 1–3+ years of related experience.
• Engineer III typically 3+ years of related experience.
• EIT license preferred; PE license a plus.
• Experience with electrical power, control & communications systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD design and drafting to support electrical and control systems.
• Lead moderate to large projects and make technical decisions as warranted.
• Develop design documents including diagrams and schematics and performance specs.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Apply electrical engineering software for grid design, relay coordination, and studies.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams to manage scope and risks.
