Lake Superior Consulting is seeking an Electrical Engineer II/III to join our team with opportunities to work on diverse energy and industrial projects across North America. The role involves CAD design, project leadership, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams from concept to commissioning.

The position supports travel up to 10% and offers exposure to power, control, and instrumentation systems, including SCADA and PLC design. Competitive compensation based on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar discipline.
• Engineer II: 1–3+ years of related engineering experience.
• Engineer III: 3+ years of related engineering experience.
• EIT license preferred; PE license a plus for Engineer III.
• Experience with power, control, and communications systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD design and drafting to assist engineers in electrical and control systems.
• Lead moderate to large-sized projects and provide direction on technical issues.
• Develop design documents and drawings including one-/three-line diagrams, protection schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Apply engineering software for ground grid design, relay coordination, and electrical studies.
• Support field wiring and testing with design and commissioning teams.
