Job summary

N3B Los Alamos, LLC is seeking an early career Electrical Engineer I to assist the design team in delivering projects, with duties spanning on-site and office work. You will work on transformer sizing, power panels, control panels, and VFDs, applying NEC principles to industrial power systems and communicating with team members and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 5–9 years of experience.
• Experience with load flow and short-circuit analysis is a plus.
• Must be able to obtain U.S. security clearance (US Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Support field investigations and data collection.
• Perform electrical design modeling for safe, reliable power systems.
• Develop system layouts, one-lines, and wiring diagrams.
• Learn and use SKM system analysis software.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams.
