N3B is seeking an early-career Electrical Engineer I/II in Los Alamos, NM to support the design team and help deliver projects on time. You will work in a blended on-site/office environment and contribute to electrical system design, documentation, and analysis.

Responsibilities include power system design, drawings, and system protection studies, with opportunities to learn SKM and grow under supervision while maintaining safety, security, and quality as core priorities.

Qualificações

• ABET-accredited BS in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Experience with load flow, short circuit analysis, and arc flash hazards system analysis software is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support field investigations or assessments. Collect data and gather information or documents. Perform standard computations or analysis. Prepare drawings and visual aids.
• Perform electrical design modeling to develop safe and reliable electrical power system designs including protection requirements.
• Apply prescribed techniques and procedures in accordance with established criteria to perform assigned tasks.
• Familiarity with system protection functions and controls in industrial power systems at voltages under 1000V.
• Assist in the design of various electrical engineering activities including plan production, system layouts, and one-line diagrams for lighting, power, security, and telecom systems.
• Learn and use SKM system analysis software.
