N3B Los Alamos is hiring an Electrical Engineer I to support the design team in Los Alamos, NM. You will work on transformer sizing, power panels, VFDs and related diagrams under supervisor guidance.

The role combines on-site and office work, with opportunities to learn NEC codes, perform load-flow studies, and develop safe, reliable electrical power systems. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited EE degree required.
• Load flow and arc-flash software experience a plus.
• Ability to obtain a DoE security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support field investigations or assessments.
• Perform electrical design modeling for safe power systems.
• Prepare drawings and system layouts, one-lines, diagrams.
• Apply industry codes and standards.
• Mentor with senior engineers; work with team.
• Willingness to learn SKM analysis software.
