Job summary

N3B is seeking an Electrical Engineer I/II to support the design team in Los Alamos, NM. You will contribute to the design and sizing of transformers, power panels, control panels, and VFDs, with field and office duties across project phases.

Strong communication, independence, and the ability to apply industry codes and safety standards are essential. Security clearance and US citizenship are required. Opportunities for growth and cross-disciplinary collaboration abound.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited college or university.
• Experience with load flow, short circuit analysis, and arc flash hazards analysis is a plus.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance and US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Support design team across on-site and office tasks for electrical power systems.
• Develop system layouts, one-lines, wiring diagrams, and equipment specs.
• Learn and apply NEC, industry codes and standards in projects.
• Collaborate with team and clients to ensure safe, reliable designs.
