Job summary
Lake Superior Consulting is seeking an Electrical Engineer II/III to join our growing engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to lead moderate to large projects across energy, oil and gas, power generation, and renewables, with flexible location options including remote work. Education: Bachelor's in electrical engineering.
Engineer II requires 1–3+ years; Engineer III requires 3+ years, EIT preferred, PE a plus. Travel up to 10%.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Engineer II: typically 1–3+ years of related engineering experience.
- Engineer III: typically 3+ years of related engineering experience; EIT preferred; PE a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform CAD design and drafting to assist electrical system designs.
- Lead moderate to large projects and provide direction to junior engineers.
- Apply engineering software for ground grid design, relay coordination, and electrical studies.
- Travel up to 10% with possible field engineering support for extended periods.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
