Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer with deep expertise in medium- and high-voltage power systems for renewable energy projects. The role emphasizes design, drawings, and specifications up to 200 kV, with QA/QC and field support responsibilities.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in project management, client meetings, and coordination across offices. A PE license or progress toward licensure within six months is required.

Formación

• BS in Electrical Engineering.
• PE licensure or ability to obtain within six months.
• 5+ years of consulting experience in medium- and high-voltage power system design.
• Experience preparing electrical construction drawings, specs, submittals and construction administration.
• Graduate degree or professional registrations preferred.
• General Contractor License a plus

Responsabilidades

• Design medium- and high-voltage power systems for renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, BESS, EV charging, and microgrids.
• Prepare specifications, calculations, drawings, and full construction packages up to 200kV.
• Provide QA/QC reviews and field support for HV collection systems and substations.
• Conduct electrical studies including short-circuit, arc flash, load flow, and relay coordination.
• Collaborate with civil and structural engineers and coordinate across offices.
• Participate in project management tasks including client meetings and shop drawing review.
• Mentor Power Market team members.
• Travel occasionally for client meetings and field reviews.
