The role requires PE licensure or the ability to obtain within six months and offers collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. The position entails designing up to 200 kV systems, performing advanced electrical studies, and providing field support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• PE licensure or ability to obtain within six months.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in consulting with focus on medium- and high-voltage power system design (implied by ad).
• Experience preparing electrical construction drawings, specs, submittal reviews, and construction administration for power projects.
• Graduate degree or professional registrations are a plus; General Contractor license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design medium- and high-voltage power distribution and management systems for renewable energy projects.
• Traditional transmission and distribution design, both underground and overhead.
• Prepare specs, calculations, drawings, and full construction packages for complex electrical systems up to 200 kV.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews to ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide technical support to field personnel for systems up to 200 kV.
• Perform electrical studies including short-circuit, arc flash, load flow, and relay coordination.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with colleagues across offices.
• Participate in project management tasks and mentor junior staff.
