Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience in building systems design.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
• Experience designing electrical systems for commercial, institutional, healthcare, civic, or mixed-use building projects.
• Working knowledge of NEC, energy codes, and industry standards.
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD for construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical design for new construction, renovation, and tenant improvements.
• Prepare construction documents: power, lighting, fire alarm, telecom, low-voltage systems.
• Develop electrical calculations: load analysis, panel schedules, short circuit studies, voltage drop, photometrics.
• Use AutoCAD and Revit to produce and coordinate drawings and models.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architects and engineers from other disciplines.
• Participate in site visits, field investigations, and construction administration.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and project documentation.
• Support project managers with schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
